Our Story
The best businesses are built and inspired by real life and humility. Reach Adult Services, LLC., is a business created by Founder, CEO, Joyce Bowens.
Joyce has always been a compassionate person who puts people first. At a young age, she had to make an important decision when her grandmother, the family’s matriarch, fell ill. There are times in life when we must ask ourselves: How far are you willing to climb? Joyce answered that with action, by stepping in to take care of her grandmother; and she made a personal dedication that she will would do what it takes to keep her promise.
She did this, all while working fulltime as an LPN nurse, being a wife and mother in her home, proving yet again she could go the distance. God put it on her heart that she needed to create resources for caregivers like herself who could use an extra hand. This calling grew strong after the passing of her grandmother, so Reach, an adult care center for adults in surrounding communities, became a reality.
A full-service center, Reach offers transportation services along with nutritional and social benefits, to name a few. It is a place where the elderly and disabled can come to have a normal day, giving their families and caregivers some reprieve and lessen their worries.
